Hi everyone!
Caroline here, happy to share a beach inspired creation. I take most of my vacations at the beach, this is really my happy place and it gives me the chance to take wonderful pictures with my boys each years. This one was taken on an early morning on the Jersey shore mid July. My little sweetheart was hunting horse shoe crabs on the low tide with his father. They found some, they were pretty happy!
Here’s the collage of the 49 and Market products I used for this creation!
“Hibiscus summer” stamp by Valerie
“Escape” white Archival board
“Sand and sea” fussy cuts
“Tattered beauty” paper from Tattered garden collection
“Wander aimlessly” paper from Captured adventure collection
“Botanical Potpourri” Marina
“Botanical blends” Navy
“Garden seeds” Aloe
I love to cluster my embellishments around my picture. I always do! This layout is no exception. I started with 2 papers with a tiny coat of clear gesso. I always prepare my surface with clear gesso so if I want to add inks later I will have no problem to do it. I used a grey blue here behind my layering.
I left my archival board white to contrast over my background and embellishments choice. With the gorgeous Navy Botanical blends behind this is eye catching!
Here and there, I used some fussy cuts from the sand and sea collection which were perfect match with my picture. I layered different colors of flowers with archival boards and stamps colored with Lindy’s magicals.
I have used a stencil with paste that I colored with a beige magical powder from Lindy’s also. It added texture to my background to keep the focus on my picture.
I chose the title Escape from the same name archival board, it was totally in the theme of this early morning!
That’s it for today, I hope you like this layout like I do!
Badges are from Cuts2luv and all the inks used are from Lindy’s gang.
Thanks for stopping by!
Très belle page qui sent bon l'air marin.
