Rose gold layout Lindy's

Today I will show you a pretty rose gold step by step layout. Everybody loves gold but what about rose gold? I love this shade so much and Tracey is so fantastic that she made us a fabulous new Magical shaker Aged copper that is a perfect rose gold shade!
Let me show you the final results first!
IMG_1231
Let’s start from the beginning! I always use clear gesso when I want to use pattern paper. The gesso act like a barrier that will protect your paper and makes your ink slide over it. If you don’t use any, the paper will absorb the ink and you won’t obtain that same look.
IMG_1198
When the clear gesso is completely dry, I sprinkled some of the Aged copper Magical shaker over my paper.
IMG_1199
With a gentle mist of water, activate the pigment. With less water, you have a copper shade, with more water it turned out the rose gold I wanted.
IMG_1200
I used a wet brush to dilute the pigments and to play with the color. With the brush I can have the color where I want it on my background, it’s more precise than a spray of water.

You can see what I got while still wet.
IMG_1202
I’m not patient, so I used my heat gun to accelerate the drying process.
IMG_1203
Look at that metallic shimmer over the pink, isn’t it gorgeous?
IMG_1197
I stamped on my background and I embossed it with Caesar’s gold to add texture.
IMG_1205
I love embossing titles with 2 shades of powders. Here I used Purely white and Cleopatra’s copper.

Let me show you some close-ups of the final result now.

Fun for everyone 49 and Market

Hi lovelies!
Caroline with you today to share my last layout. Today, I just want to escape from my snowy and cold country! I picked up some of my favorite products from the Island Paradise collection to make a sunny and beachy layout!
49 and market products used:
“Colada Heaven” from Island Paradise collection
“Island Paradise” laser cuts
“Dandelion fields” laser cuts
Stargazers “Lemon drop”
Stargazers “Sky blue”
Vintage shades “blue” Botanical blends
Island Paradise was one of my favorite collection in 2018, I am a beachy girl and everything that is in link with it steal my heart. I love this little anchor from the laser cut sheet, it was just the perfect touch I needed to decorate my layout.
Those, gorgeous lemon drop Stargazers are like little rays of sunshine don’t you think? I layered some yellow and blue flowers to fit with the paper I choose.
I added a couple of spatters at the end to light up the whole page.
All the inks are from Lindy’s gang and the badges are from Cuts2luv.
Again, thank you for being there with me!

Fresh and chilly

Hi everyone!
Here’s my second layout this month, for 49 and Market and I decided to join on the Dusty Attic challenge also!
49 and market products used:
“Snowdrift” from Winters edge collection
“Butterfly harvest” Layered embellishments
Botanical blends “Navy”
Garden seeds “Cotton”
“Gabi’s patterned texture” stamps set
Navy and gray is my new favorite combo, it suits so well for winter! I started my layout with modeling paste over a stencil, then I stamped randomly with black ink.
For more texture I added some art stones between my flowers. I used a mix of Botanical blends and Garden seeds on this one.
With a dark blue paint I added chipboards under my flowers to complete.
You can also see that I used some layered embellishments, they are a perfect match.
Here's the gorgeous challenge at Dusty Attic
I stayed in the gray, navy and white shades with a bit of beige.
Our weather here is nothing in link about the beach but the combo is still awesome for snow :)

Thanks for being there again!

Ensemble for 49 and Market

Hi everyone!
Caroline with you today, this will probably be my last Christmas feels layout of the season. The Holidays are over now and I wanted to use this cute picture with the Winters edge collection! I was happy to catch a lovely moment of my man with his baby cat. Hubby was not a cat person when we met… things changed in 17 years!
49 and Market products used
“Illuminating” from Winters edge collection
“Robin’s note” from Winters edge collection
“Faded Damask” stamp
Winters edge laser cuts
Floral mixology “Mudslide”
Cottage blooms “Cotton”
I choose 2 papers from the Winters edge collection that were gorgeous with my picture, I teared one to have just a part showing. With the faded damask stamp I came over them and I stamped randomly with versamark, then I embossed it with white powder from Lindy’s.
The brown and red flowers were the cutest to match my layout. I added some whites to illuminate the whole thing.
Is this little bird enough cute? I HAD to use it somewhere! I know birds and cats are not friends but eh let’s be crazy!
Finally, I splattered some white ink all over to have a kind of snowflakes fall.
That’s it for today, see you later in the month for another layout!

Everything has beauty for 49 and Market

Hi lovelies!
I hope you are having some amazing Holidays! Caroline with you today to share another layout using the delightful “Winters edges” collection. That paper collection is great for Christmas but is also wonderful for wintery layouts! This paper in particular is one my favorite of the collection!

49 and Market products used
Winters edge “snow covered trees” 12×12 paper
Gabi’s “Tiles” stamps
Potpourri flowers “shadow”
Blossom blend “Aloe”
Winters edge “laser cuts”
Potpourri flowers “snow”
Botanical blend “snow”
With “Tiles” from Gabi, I randomly stamped in black over my background to start. It gives depth to the composition.
I used a soft and delicate combo with whites, grays and mint. There’s so many gorgeous flowers available at 49 and Market, I just went into my stash to find the perfect match. The little wood slices add some natural effect to the layout.
Just a touch of snow paste and shimmer spray add a festive note! I put just a tiny bit of snow paste on the background and on the flowers here and there. It gives a beautiful wintery look.
The laser cuts I used a delicate and complete the whole layout with perfection. This quote is so perfect.

Thank you for your time again, see you in 2019, enjoy each and every minutes of your family time!
All the badges are from Cuts2luv and the sprays are from Lindy’s gang
